5月31日，广东阳江抽水蓄能电站工程竣工验收会议在广州召开，验收委员会专家一致认为，广东阳江抽水蓄能电站已按标准的设计规模、设计方案全部建成。枢纽建筑物、机电及金属结构设备设计符合规范要求。验收委员会一致同意通过阳蓄电站工程竣工验收并签署了竣工验收鉴定书。至此，阳蓄电站工程竣工验收通过。

阳江抽水蓄能电站是国家和广东省重点建设工程，一期工程投入运行后，预计每年可节约标煤约16.55万吨，减排二氧化碳41.38万吨，减排二氧化硫等有害气体0.18万吨，将在促进清洁能源消纳尤其是海上风电的消纳、加快广东省能源清洁低碳转型、助力实现“碳达峰、碳中和”目标等方面发挥重要作用。

It will play an important role in promoting the consumption of clean energy, especially offshore wind power, accelerating the clean and low-carbon transformation of energy in Guangdong Province, and helping to achieve the goal of "carbon peak and carbon neutrality".
