6月14日，孟外交秘书马苏德与阿塞拜疆外交事务副部长马马多夫在巴库举行首轮外交磋商。会上，孟提议从阿进口天然气，并建议签署相关谅解备忘录，阿方积极响应。双方讨论了贸易、投资、教育、文化和信息通信技术等合作领域，并强调了高层互访的重要性，同意加快处理未决双边协议的工作。此外，马苏德还请阿从孟进口纺织品和药品，并引进孟劳动力。

On June 14, Foreign Secretary Masood held the first round of diplomatic consultations with Deputy Foreign Minister Mammadov of Azerbaijan in Baku. At the meeting, Meng proposed to import natural gas from Afghanistan and suggested signing a relevant memorandum of understanding, to which the Afghan side responded positively. The two sides discussed areas of cooperation such as trade, investment, education, culture and information and communication technology, stressed the importance of high-level visits and agreed to speed up work on pending bilateral agreements. In addition, Masood asked Albania to import textiles and medicines from Bangladesh and bring in Bangladeshi labor.
